Established in 2015, Shri E Rickshaw is one of the leading organizations betrothed in manufacturing and wholesaling an extensive series of Battery E Rickshaw and E Rickshaw Loader. These products are extremely used by patrons due to their low maintenance, sturdy nature, longer service life and nominal prices. Our presented products are developed utilizing the advanced techniques and technology. These rickshaws have an M.S (Mild Steel) tubular chassis, consist of 3 wheels with a differential mechanism at rear wheels. The motor is a brushless DC motor manufactured mostly in India. The electrical system used in the Indian version is 48V. The body design from the most popular version is of very thin iron or aluminium sheets. Vehicles made in fibre are also popular because of their strength and durability, resulting in low maintenance, especially in India.
The body design is varied from load carriers, passenger vehicles with no roof, to full body with windshield for drivers comfort. It consists of a controller unit. They are sold on the basis of voltage supplied and current output, also the number of MOSFET (metal oxide field effect transistor) used. The battery used is mostly lead-acid battery with a life of 6–12 months. Deep cycle batteries designed for electric vehicles are rarely used. Weight of the electric car has also been a recurring design difficulty in them.

From Legacy to Innovation: From Matador to Shri E-Rickshaws
In 1958, Firodia Ltd, an Indian automobile manufacturer (later acquired by Bajaj Tempo, now known as Force Motors since 2005), began producing Hanseat three-wheeled vehicles in collaboration with the German company Tempo-Werke. Interestingly, my grandparents were working there during this time. Shortly after, Tempo launched the Matador, which, along with the Hanseat, became extremely popular in India, especially for transporting goods. The Matador, a four-wheeled vehicle, was produced by Tempo from 1949 until 1967, becoming a key player in the Indian transport industry. Today, we carry forward the legacy by selling Shri e-rickshaws.
